For the past 30 years, Siren Records has been a go-to for new and used vinyl records, CDs, DVDs, cassette tapes, and turntables. Being the only independent record store in Doylestown, they offer a limitless selection of music from nearly every genre. Their vast array of new and old tunes, along with their affordable prices, makes this place a must-visit for musicians and music lovers alike in the Philadelphia area.
If you’re looking for those hidden classic gems, the latest release from your favorite artist, or if you just want to stop in and peruse the aisles, Siren Records has something for everyone. The store also serves as a venue, hosting monthly events for both local and well-established artists.
Knowing the rapidly changing music industry, combined with our joy of working with small businesses, we wanted to help Siren Records stay relevant in this age of new media. Their original website felt outdated and didn’t represent who they were, so we simplified the layout and made it more accessible (and much better designed).
We added e-commerce capabilities, making it easier to buy, sell, and trade items online, along with selling gift cards, merchandise, and every format of music. We also created an archive to show the concerts and events they have held in the past.
Not only do we enjoy making new websites, but we also love podcasts! So we created and continue to produce Chloe in the Racks, in which Chloe discusses the latest record releases and explores new and old music through the Siren Records racks. Whether it’s exploring music that you don’t know but should, or if you’re looking to hear some cool stories (including one about meeting Meatloaf), this is a great podcast to listen to.
They currently have 1,500 subscribers, and over 7,000 Instagram followers (not bad for an independent record store.) With these marketing strategies, there’s a deeper connection among Siren Records and their fans, and we’re happy to see their brand grow and thrive!
