Blair Academy
Blair Academy is a dynamic, co-educational boarding school located in Blairstown New Jersey where students in grades 9-12 pursue a superior college preparatory education.
We were connected with Blair Academy through a mutual colleague. After a warm introduction to Suzy, their Assistant Head of School for Strategic Communications, we got on a quick call to discuss needs and see if we got along.
Blair was in need of graphic design on a variety of projects, everything from large fundraising booklets to post card sized student hand outs. We went to tour the beautiful campus, met with Suzy and her team, and the Head of School (and his dog!) and soon found that we would be a great fit for what they needed.

Introduction
For decades, the Allentown Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) has played a major role in the revitalization of Allentown and the Lehigh Valley, contributing to projects like the PPL Center, Three City Center, and America on Wheels Museum. Despite its impact, much of AEDC’s work remained underrecognized by the public. The goal of this initiative was to modernize the organization’s image, strengthen public awareness, and create a more cohesive identity that clearly communicated AEDC’s mission, services, and long-term impact on the region.
Problem + Goals
To support AEDC’s evolving vision, we led a comprehensive rebranding effort that included a rebuilt logo system, updated brand standards, redesigned marketing materials, and a fully redeveloped website. A major focus was creating distinct but connected branding for AEDC’s three core divisions—Urban Sites, Urban Made, and Bridgeworks Enterprise Center—to better define each service area while maintaining a unified organizational identity. We also designed and developed a responsive, user-friendly website complete with custom graphics, refined messaging, detailed service information, and streamlined navigation to improve the user experience and clearly communicate AEDC’s role in economic development.
Solution
The rebrand and digital transformation significantly increased awareness and understanding of AEDC throughout the Lehigh Valley. With a more professional and consistent visual identity, improved marketing materials, and a modern website, AEDC is now better positioned to communicate its mission and engage with the public. The redesign also contributed to stronger newsletter engagement, clearer communication of redevelopment initiatives, and a more active digital presence overall. Through cohesive branding and strategic communication, AEDC now has the tools to better showcase its impact, connect with stakeholders, and continue driving economic growth in the region.

I appreciate them taking the time to educate themselves on our complex industry. Moving forward the new brand, look, and messaging will be pushed out in all of our marketing tactics, including email marketing, print and digital advertising campaigns, social media and even onsite signage.
