Brown Design Corp is a landscape architecture firm known and respected throughout the community. With decades of experience in land planning and design, they have delivered solutions that enhance both functionality and beauty. As they approached their 25th anniversary, founder Chris Brown knew it was time for a change and used it as an opportunity to reflect the firm's evolution while staying true to the reputation they’d built over the years.

We were introduced to Chris through a long-time connection with our Creative Director, Evan Johnson, who had worked with him years ago on a video project. When Chris reached out about refreshing his firm’s website, the conversation quickly expanded into something much bigger: a complete rebrand, website redesign, and a suite of new visual collateral to carry the business confidently into the next decade.

BRAND SPRINT

We approached Brown Design Corp’s rebrand with a new offering called a Brand Sprint, condensing our full branding process into a focused, high-output week of discovery, sketching, refinement, and finalization. 

 

Throughout the sprint, our design team collaborated to explore dozens of visual directions rooted in the keywords Chris provided: trees, leaves, timelessness, reliability, and quality. Together, we narrowed the field to three strong concepts, each capturing a different facet of the firm’s identity. 

 

After thoughtful review and discussion with Chris, he gravitated toward a direction that felt “made to last.” From there, we partnered to fine-tune the design, shaping it into a final logo that honors the firm’s legacy while establishing a confident, modern presence.

RESULTS

Chris and the team were thrilled with the final results. After 10-15 years with the same logo and an outdated website, the rebrand marked a transformative step forward. It gave Brown Design Corp a bold, elevated presence. One that not only reflects the quality of their work, but also positions them for growth in the years ahead. 

 

The new website was built with clarity and usability in mind. It’s easy for the team to update internally and presents prospective clients with a clear, compelling view of what services Brown Design Corp offers and what sets them apart in a competitive field. 

 

From logo to typography to digital experience, the firm now has the tools to communicate their values with clarity and confidence. The rebrand doesn’t just mark a new chapter, it lays the foundation for the next decade of purposeful, enduring design.
